Dublin’s most talented PLC students

This initiative is being run in partnership with Inchicore College of Further Education (ICFE)

The Rising Tide will provide marketing projects for the ICFE students to work on as part of their QQI level 5 Business & Digital Marketing course.

The outcome of these projects can contribute to the student’s college grades and we’ll provide our student contributors with honest references for their resumes.

Our local business members will benefit greatly from this initiative, too, as a student or small group of students, will commit to promoting their business for the duration of approximately 8 weeks.

We, at The Rising Tide & the team of lecturers at ICFE will oversee these projects and give the students ongoing guidance and support during these projects.

We, at The Rising Tide, will also get to work with some of Dublin’s most talented PLC students in the local area.

The Rising Tide Project will start Monday 21st March.

The following businesses have declared interest to be participants in the project:

  1. Fitzgerald’s Bar, Aston Quay
  2. PrintSave, Bluebell
  3. Crumlin Windows and Doors
  4. Bulfin Bakery, Inchicore
  5. Parea Greek Street Food, Talbot Street
  6. Slide Glide Dublin, Longmile Road
  7. Mean Clean Car Valeting Service, Coolock
  8. AquaFilter Warehouse, Nationwide
  9. Bounceback Café, Thomas Street
  10. Life in Motion Bike + Coffeeshop, Harold’s Cross Road
  11. Panda Burgers & Sushi Restaurant, Robert/Bond Street

At the end of this 8-week project, we will evaluate the process and take the learning into the next cycle of students starting in the early autumn.

We are already looking forward to meeting and working with the new group of students starting this Business course in ICFE in early October 2022.

The Rising Tide and ICFE are excited about this initiative and we are looking forward to supporting the students to bring their creativity, personality & marketing skills to the forefront in order to promote and raise the profile of the local businesses in the community.
