Welcome back, ye Constant Engagers!

This is your latest briefing on the actions, observations & results obtained from the previous week’s promotions of Local Dublin Businesses.

Last weekend saw us hosting our second Rising Tide Event. This time, it was held in the ‘Here!’ Student Accommodation Hub, Cork Street, Dublin 8. (Thanks, Damien!)

We introduced 3 local (start up!) businesses to the students, whilst distributing marketing materials on behalf of many of the other members on our platform.

The 3 businesses represented included:
1. Angie’s Kitchen, The Queen of South African Cuisine!
2. Sebastian, a tech guru, almost ready to officially launch his new tech business
3. Digi-Care Kimmage, Mobile Phone fixers & accessories.

The day was a success with many sales made for Angie’s Kitchen. The South African Sausage Curry was a particular favourite, especially towards the end of the day. The students got to meet Mai from Digi-Care, so they now know where to go should any mobile phone issues arise for them. Sebastian discovered a fellow entrepreneur (student), Dylan. They were in deep conversation with ideas flowing back & forth for at least an hour. (Watch this space, I say!)

For a Catering Party with a Spring-box difference contact: Angie’s Kitchen on:  0896183944 as soon as you can!

Myself & my team met many wonderful & interesting student residents, but none more so than the super-cheerful DJ LOK, a budding entrepreneur DJ & Videographer. We look forward to working with him in the near future.

For any businesses who may need a videographer to promote their business in time for the New Year, we would suggest checking out LOK’s portfolio on Instagram: @djlok.

In other news, we have received the latest pricelist from FreshPoint – purveyors of fresh fruits and vegetables. As you know, we have acquired almost 40 new business clients for them over the last 2.5 years & we look forward to building on this number, further!

Our projects for I Monelli Authentic Italian Restaurant are nearing completion. (Thank God!).

Our presentation at Inchicore College of Further Education & our exhibition at Here! Student Accommodation Hub has resulted in a 1% increase in our followers on Instagram (1,062). Preparations for those events, however, reduced our ability to provide our usual output of Social Media posts. Alas…

Until next week.

Kindest Regards,

Last year, The Rising Tide Local Business Platform & Inchicore College of Further Education (ICFE) conceptualised a novel project, whereby the Digital Marketing Students would be allocated one of the (Rising Tide) business members to promote, over a period of 60 hours, as part of their work experience curriculum.

It’s been a while since we updated you, our Constant Engagers…but the Entrepreneurial Journey is never easy!

We’ve had a few slings & arrows sent our way, since last December. We’re still tipping away, but, as you can gather not with the same freedom prior to December.

Through the Fog

Wishing you all the best for 2023!
Who’s ready to rock, then?
Since November last we’ve been investigating ways to pivot the business. We have plenty of ideas about how to do so & we’re slowly (but surely) formulating the best strategy.
