Welcome back, ye Constant Engagers!

This is your latest briefing on the actions, observations & results obtained from the previous week’s promotions of Local Dublin Businesses.

Good tidings we bring!

We are delighted to announce that our long-awaited project with the students of The Marketing School of Inchicore College of Further Education (ICFE) is really gathering momentum.

The objective of this project is to encourage our students to use their marketing ( Online / Social Media & In-person Communication) skills to support our Local Dublin Businesses.

As you know, the sole objective for The Rising Tide Local Business Platform is to support our ‘Mam & Dad shops / boot-strapping SME’s in fun (hopefully!), creative (hopefully!) & socially positive (definitely!) ways.

It’s truly the time to rally around our local businesses because with the realisation of near-insurmountable energy costs (in order to keep the lights, the heating, the coffee machines and the ovens on) imminent, we need to encourage our youth to lend their support in this effort.

Afterall, it’s our youths who will be the next generation of ‘Mam & Dad’ shop-owners / entrepreneurs!

We have 6 volunteer students who are ready to step up to the plate and in doing so, gain some priceless experience in promoting a real-life functioning business for a period of 60 hours between January and April 2023.

Myself & the Marketing School lecturers from ICFE will provide guidance and advice every step of the way as we encourage the students to bring their youthful, positive & creative energies to the fore.

Here’s the list of businesses and the affiliated students who will take part in The Local Business Rising Project, 2023
  1. I Monelli Authentic Italian Restaurant, Portobello, Dublin 8 Student: Dara
  2. PrintSave Ireland, Print & Design House, Bluebell, Dublin 12 Student: Jelena
  3. Slide Glide Dublin, Bespoke Storage Solutions, Longmile Road, Dublin 12 Student: Luhle
  4. Aquafilter Warehouse, Water Filtration Systems, Kylemore, Dublin 12 Student: Adonis
  5. Mean Clean Car Valeting Service, Coolock, Dublin 15 Student: Clinton
  6. Sumaki Sushi Bar, Parliament Street Student: Miradie
Thanks so much to Aideen, Andrea and the Senior Management of ICFE for showing their willingness to get behind this innovative & pioneering effort.

Let’s do this, guys!

Until next week…

Kindest Regards,

Gavin

It’s been a while since we updated you, our Constant Engagers…but the Entrepreneurial Journey is never easy!

We’ve had a few slings & arrows sent our way, since last December. We’re still tipping away, but, as you can gather not with the same freedom prior to December.

Through the Fog

Wishing you all the best for 2023!
Who’s ready to rock, then?
Since November last we’ve been investigating ways to pivot the business. We have plenty of ideas about how to do so & we’re slowly (but surely) formulating the best strategy.
